Floating for River Smallmouths

The Upper Juniata River is probably one of the most unrated smallmouth bass fisheries in its entire 104 mile length. From the town of Petersburg considered its headwaters to Lewistown where she starts to broaden out, has some great water. In this section of the river there are deep pools, long runs, shallow riffles, good bank cover and lots of rock, all great habitat for smallmouths. If you enjoy throwing subsurface and top water flies to some aggressive predatory fish this trip is for you. Come and experience Pennsylvania's other predatory fish. You won't be disappointed.
Float Trip Rates
One Angler: $450.00
Two Anglers: $550.00
*Two or more days to float can also be arranged. There are a number of hotels in the Huntington,PA area for you to choose from.*
*Full Day Float Trip will be a 9 to 10 hour float. Lunch and drinks will also be provided for the day.*

*Fly Reel - 50 Yards of Backing (Will be provided if needed)
*Fly Line - Floating and Sinking, Intermediate Sinking (Will be Provided if needed)

*Flies - Bring your own if you prefer, but we will provide you with all flies & leaders.
Things to Bring
Please reserve your preferred dates as early as possible. At time of reservation a deposit of 50% is required in order to hold your date. Deposits are non-refundable or transferable if the outing is canceled less than two weeks in advance. Obviously we are at the whims of mother nature. Canceled trips due to her will be rescheduled at a later date during the calendar year.
