Details of Your 3 Day North Central & Wild Trout Combination Trip
Day 1: You will travel from your home to Cross Fork, PA in Potter County and arrive at 12.00 noon. I will meet you at 12:00 noon in Cross Fork, PA. Across the bridge in town turn right into the big parking lot on your right and I'll be waiting for you there. We will then travel out of town down to camp. Upon your arrival at camp we will get your gear stowed away and have lunch. After lunch we'll get your fishing gear rigged up and you will have the choice of fishing one of the Kettle Creek valleys wild brook trout streams or wet fly fish some of the sections on Kettle Creek. (You may switch at any time) for the evening. We'll fish till dark and arrive back at camp and have a late supper.
Day 2: I'll be up early getting breakfast ready and packing lunch's for the day. We'll leave early and you will have the choice of driving over the mountain to another one of Pennsylvania's back country gems for wild brook trout and browns or wet fly fish on
Pine Creek or the First Fork of the Sinnemahoning (You may switch at any time), its about a 40 min. drive to these streams. We'll fish till around noon, then take a break for lunch. We'll fish till dark and arrive back at camp for late supper.
Day 3: We'll be up early for breakfast and head to fish the head waters of Kettle Creek nestled in the upper most region of the Kettle Creek Valley or wet fly fish a couple different sections of Kettle Creek. (You may switch at any time) We'll fish till 12:00 noon and come back to camp to have lunch. After lunch, we'll start packing up for the drive home.
**Please remember when fishing for wild trout that this trip is physically demanding as we will be fishing in some very remote areas. Streams are small and heavily canopied so your casting abilities has to be at there best.
**When wet fly fishing stream selections may vary during the trip. Water conditions and hatches will dictate to what stream we will be fishing that particular day.
